Video Games PlayStation for You |
PlayStation, or, to be more precise, Sony PlayStation, is actually a
registered trademark, but we currently often hear people refer to any
of the video game
consoles or video
game systems as "video games
playstation". This little inconsistency may originate from the fact
that Sony PlayStation ruled the video
games
market for quite a long time in the 1990s. When what will be further be
referred to, in a commonplace manner but with due capitalization, as a
video games PlayStation hit the market in 1995, this very market had
been heavily dominated for a rather long time already by Sega and Nintendo video games.
Video
games PlayStation fought bravely for its own niche, and, finally,
became a household name... and continued evolving. The world went from
video games PlayStation 1 phase through video games PlayStation 2 to
video games PlayStation 3.
The PS3
video games are immensely popular even nowadays, in this
hated by
the majority of old-fashioned gamers era when the video game accessories
common
to the 1980s and 1990s are giving way to the computer video games.
After all,
the creators of video games PlayStation did not win the hearts of so
many gamers just by offering convenient hardware; they had to provide
us with great games, as well - and so they did. For instance, it was
the video games PlayStation crew that continued the famous Final
Fantasy games series which was originally started by Nintendo. Also,
even those folks who cannot be further away in interests from the
gaming industry absolutely must be familiar with the movies Resident Evil and Tomb Raider (that
Lara Croft one
with Angelina Jolie looking her usual sexy self). We shall have you
know that these movies were based strictly on the video games
PlayStation products! However, the hardware part is also worth
mentioning. Even the original video games PlayStation controller was to
die for, especially at that time. The improved version - the so-called
Dual Shock - had the gamers head over the hills from the start. One of
the brightest stars of the gaming industry, indeed!
